Social networking is white hot on the internet at the present time. News Corp. owns MySpace, Google acquired YouTube and I bet you that within the next few months, a series of new platforms will pop up.
I am guilty as charged. I am a member of a couple of networks and I am amazed how open some people are with sharing information. You could practical know what someone ate for dinner last Christmas or what the people are thinking during their popular television show. I know that the beauty of the Web 2.0 allows individuals to express themselves and share with others but there has to be a balance between sharing information freely and privacy. Any piece of information that is available online can put together to learn about more an individual.
Warning: If you are a part of a social network, be careful on how you complete your profile and what is written on your page by others. Your page maybe divulging too much information about you without you knowing it.
